Divide the hair into small subsections.
Comb each subsection before using the straightening brush.
Select the desired temperature: Fine hair = lower heat setting; medium to coarse = higher heat setting.
Quickly press the top button to instantly reach the highest temperature setting, if desired.
You can also press and hold the same button to lock the temperature in place.
Starting at the base of a section, lightly spray a pump of Perfect Defense 8-10 inches (20-25 cm) away.
Slowly brush the strand from root to tip, letting the hair slide through the bristles.
Repeat until the desired smoothness is achieved.
Let the heated blunt edge reach close to the root for smoothness in hard-to-reach areas.
Optional: for extra crease at the ends, tilt the brush in the desired direction and let the ends of the hair pass through the blunt edge.
